Earlier this month, the MLRC participated in one of our favorite community traditions: the annual Belgrade Lakes Village Holiday Stroll. Unseasonably fair weather and a great variety of festive happenings undoubtedly contributed to the pulse of activity on the village streets. Both the MLRC and MLRC Annex were buzzing with visitors all evening.
The Maine Lakes Resource Center once again had the privilege of hosting Santa Claus himself for the evening. After Santa arrived at the MLRC by fire engine courtesy of Belgrade Fire Department, he settled in his favorite armchair to greet all the girls and boys from the Belgrade Lakes region (and beyond). More than 100 children stopped into the MLRC to meet with the jolly old elf and tell him what they would like for presents this year.
Please enjoy this gallery of photos (courtesy of Dr. Alex Wall) from this wonderful evening. Many thanks to everyone who came out!
