Conservation Outreach

Interested in bringing environmental education to your classroom?

The Maine Lakes Resource Center has developed an conservation education outreach program aimed at providing students (K through 8) with enriching environmental science learning opportunities.  Topics of study are primarily related to natural history topics such as animal adaptation or wildlife conservation, however, specific programs can be designed to compliment particular topics of interest upon request and with advance notice.

Environmental Ed

Environmental Educator, Logan Parker, teaches about Maine’s “Birds in Winter” at Farrington Elementary in Augusta, ME.

All programs are designed to meet Maine’s Common Core State Standards. Though there is no fee requested for these programs, donations are accepted to support the conservation and educational efforts of the MLRC.

Interested individuals should contact Logan Parker at (207) 495-3617 or via email ([email protected]) to schedule an event or for more information.
